FRONT FORK OIL - c.c. ????

Help !
I will change the oil seals of my front fork.
I need to know the exactly amount of fork oil I should use in each leg of my 1995 Savage.
I donīt have the service manual.
How many cc in each leg ?
Which oil ?
Whatīs the problem if I use .....for example .... ordinary oil (20W50). I know it would be too heavy.....
